Check out the new addition: A little script that takes a cusom command file and returns a SVG map of a locus with its coding/non-coding sequence, it's exons/introns, and selected single nucleotide polymorphisms. Let me know if something is not working correctly (of if you like it)

March 01, 2003 - Overview
This page mainly serves as a container to make available some software i have written, mostly in python, as well as a LaTex stylesheet I used to write my thesis at the University of North Carolina in Dr. Ron Swanstroms laboratory.
I only have a limited number of browsers available to test the rendering of this CSS1 driven page. On my system (Mac OS X.2) it renders reasonably well on Chimera 0.6, Safari beta, and Internet Explorer 5 (though Safari appears to have trouble justifying text). I've heard that Netscape 7 on a WinXP machine had some trouble but the page degraded gracefully. I'm investigating, but i don't have a WinXP machine myself, so this may take a while. Any comments/hints/complaints are always welcome (see link in sidebar or click here).
